Faith: a poem

Confidence in one’s values becomes even more crucial in the world outside the walls of Yavneh Academy of Dallas. I wrote this poem while discovering that pride, especially in regards to Judaism.

FAITH:

You need no proof.

To your house of religion, it’s the roof,

Sheltering you from other nations.

Your belief needs no explanation.

You can travel to Brazil, China, and Rome

But you’ll always return to your religion,

                                                             Your one true home.

People will try to push you away,

But it’s a magnet pulling you back into focus.

                                                             It’s your faith!
