Twelve years have passed since the beginning of the student newspaper for Yavneh Academy of Dallas.
Today, we, The Bulldog Print staff, meet in a room illuminated by Macs and a gigantic whiteboard that usually displays a myriad of colors with important names, numbers and dates. We dedicate ourselves to serving the Dallas Jewish community by covering stories ranging from basketball championships to global Jewry to driving safety.
Our mission is to be a reliable news source for the Dallas Jewish community by having five 12-page print issues per year and a website, all produced as a result of Yavneh students uniting and growing as a staff.
In the long-term we wish to continue to encourage Yavneh students to explore by maintaining the print issues, website and broadcast. It should become the prized possession of Yavneh Academy of Dallas.
As a staff, we treasure seven core values with the title of B.U.L.L.D.O.G: bravery, unity, loyalty, listening, discovery, organization and growth. Prepare for take-off because this website is about to launch. Destinations include current news stories, Editors’ Picks, Top 10 lists, online editions of the print issues and more.
Our print issues and website have distinct purposes and are equally important. We thank you for your support of The Bulldog Print and are ready to be your pilots on this flight to the future of our newspaper.
